How do I get emergency dental care?
Finding an emergency dentist when you need immediate assistance is important. The first step is to call the office and let a member of the staff know about your situation. If it is a life-threatening issue, call 911 immediately. It’s important to remember that most emergency rooms and quick-care clinics are not equipped to handle dental emergencies, so it’s best to reach out to a trusted emergency dentist near you.
Most dental offices provide same-day appointments for emergency patients. Dental Wellness of Lexington will be pleased to see you the same day should you require timely treatment. Many of the most common dental emergencies are an indication of a bigger problem, so if you want to avoid these sudden visits, you’ll want to make sure that you see your dentist regularly for preventive care.
How do I find the best place to get dental work done?
You’ll first need to identify what it is you’re looking for in a dental practice near Open Gates. What is most important to you? Is it finding a dentist who is near your home or office? Is it someone who delivers specialized care? Is it a place that offers comprehensive services to everyone in your family?
You might also think about the type of dental care you need. Do they offer orthodontics or dental implant placement? Do you need major restorative work?
Once you’ve narrowed your choices based on these factors, you’ll want to schedule a visit to get a feel for the practice and their team. Do they treat patients with personalized care or like a number? At Dental Wellness of Lexington, we are committed to providing one-on-one attention so that your concerns and questions are heard, addressed, and answered.
You might also find it helpful to read patient reviews and look at the doctors’ bios to learn more about their experience and educational expertise.
How much does a dental checkup and cleaning cost in Open Gates?
Generally, the cost of a dental checkup and cleaning is between $200 and $350. This is dependent on the geographic location of your dental office as well as our overall health. Our checkups begin with a discussion of your health history as well as any concerns you might have about your smile. We’ll perform a thorough exam as well as take digital X-rays for a more comprehensive view of your oral anatomy. This visit will also include a complete professional cleaning and oral cancer screening.
If you have dental insurance, it is in your best interest to use it because most plans provide 100% coverage for preventive care. However, if you do not, you can apply for flexible financing through CareCredit or Lending Club.
